RSI Position on Safety Plans & Training

RSI, takes the position that all organizations should have an Environment, Safety, Injury & Health (ESIH) Policy and Plan specific to their organization. ESIH Plans should be adopted no mater the size or functions of the organization, and training and education of the employee should be part of that employee's job.

RSI, considers compliance to all OSHA, FCC, EPA, and other governmental standards, laws, and codes is the employer's responsibility as is the employee's "Right to Know" and training. We consider the employee responsible to fully participate and actively adhere to the training provided.

RSI, readily acknowledges the need for, and promotes, the use of, multiple methods of educational training, as each method may have its unique advantages and disadvantages.

RSI, has attempted to provide a truly interactive solution that meet your training requirements. Your "plan" should recognize and allow for these methods to augment one another to the benefit of the employee and employer. Toward this end the production and marketing of the ESIH / OSHA wings of the "Virtual Library" may be coupled with and or linked to other products and services of RSI. Some subjects require "hands on" or "classroom type training v/s other methods available. Some subjects must reflect the location and other specifics of the work place that must be provided directly by the employer. Our purpose and intent is to assist you the subscriber in selecting what is best for you and your employees from the options available.
