Outer "spin" ring thwarts torque.
This free-spinning, rounded nut collar prevents typical gripping devices like wrenches or clamps from twisting, wrestling or turning the protecting nut. The steel is hardened for tamper resistance.

The interior portion of the device threads onto an anchor bolt (or other security applications) and "piggy-backs" over a structural nut thus providing secure locking action.
