Miranda Allen - Chief Executive Officer

Miranda Allen is the CEO for RSI and is one of RSI’s original employees. She assisted in the establishment of RSI and acted in an advisory role during her departure from RSI from 1999-2005. Miranda began working for RSI as a Sales and Information Specialist and was promoted to Director of Marketing. She was instrumental in designing the RSI name and logo. Ms. Allen was also influential in establishing the RSI brand, which is known throughout the country. In September of 2005 she accepted the position as National Sales Manager for RSI. In January of 2008 she was promoted to executive vice president and in 2012 she became CEO. 

She is a successful entrepreneur, a world renowned speaker, a not for profit founder, and a motivational coach.  In 2016 she ran for US Congress against Mike Pompeo, the recently appointed CIA Director, as an Independent. 

Miranda is currently the CEO for RSI a national health and safety consulting firm.  She has founded several successful businesses and has served in management positions for privately held and government organizations in the US and abroad to include Hewlett Packard and the US Army.

She is a published author and a national speaker

Her purpose in life is to leave the world a better place and this is achieved through contagious positivity, active participation, collaboration with change agents, and involvement in the community and industry.  Ms. Allen is an accomplished speaker/presenter and has provided training and educational workshops on a variety of topics to numerous different audience segments nationwide.  She has vast experience with change management and has led organizations in successful turnaround efforts.  Miranda is keenly interested in organizational management and routinely provides training on topics of customer service, leadership, mentoring, women’s leadership, fear/failure, and generational collaboration.

Education

Mrs. Allen holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations from Northwestern Oklahoma State University and a MBA from the University of Colorado.  Miranda completed the highly recognized Kansas Leadership Center leadership (KLC) training course and also is a graduate of the Kansas Ag and Rural Leadership (KARL) program.

She is an active member of NATE (National Association of Tower Erectors), serves on the NATE membership committee. RSI is a proud NATE STAR Participant.

Miranda has served in management positions for both privately held and government organizations both in the US and abroad to include Hewlett Packard and the US Army. Her international experience brings a higher level of knowledge and understanding to the organizations she works. She has widespread experience in sales and marketing management and a proven track record with successful organizational development implementation, strategic planning, leadership, and motivation programs.

 

Miranda has vast experience with change management and has led several organizations/departments in successful turnaround efforts. She has a particular interest in Industrial Psychology/Organizational Development and has done extensive research within this area. She is also highly respected for her Economic Development skills. Ms. Allen is an accomplished speaker/presenter and has provided training and educational services on a variety of topics to numerous different audience segments. Miranda is very dedicated to customer satisfaction and leads following the philosophy that the key to a successful organization is to build trusting and beneficial bonds which facilitate interdependence and foster symbiotic relationships between the parties. Her team strives to partner with their clients in order to understand unique situations and then providing them options that will furnish long-term solutions.

Shawn Sahadi - Technical Manager

Shawn Sahadi is the Technical Manager for RSI and has been on board for several years. Shawn started out in the sales department working with clients for their safety and compliance needs. He moved to the technical department working on RF Site compliance reports as well as performing offsite evaluations of telecom sites.

Shawn currently oversees the Technical Department which is comprised of a team of Field Assessors working across the United States and a team of in-office staff. This department’s primary role is surveying Wireless Telecom sites to determine compliance with federal regulations. The field teams visit the sites and send the data to the corporate office where the in office technical staff performs offsite calculations, analyzes and organizes the data into a finished report for the client.

Shawn is an Authorized OSHA Outreach trainer and headed the development of RSI’s Virtual University which has allowed RSI to develop and deliver a variety of Safety and Technical training to its clients over the internet.

Over the course of Shawn’s time at RSI, he has earned his OSHA 10 hour Construction card as well as RF Train the Trainer™, and RF Advanced Train the Trainer™ among many other safety training courses for the telecom industry including: Hazcom, Lockout/Tagout, Fall Protection, Walking and Working Surfaces, RF PPM, Electrical Hazards, Antenna 101, and many more. Shawn is also a licensed Amateur Radio Operator.

Steve Wilcox

Live Trainer

Mr. Wilcox has worked in the Tower Safety/Climbing Industry for over 20 years. As one of the Co-founders of ComTrain, he created the firms first website, Authored and Co-authored many publications including “Knot Knowledge” (currently re-titled “Soft ropes, knots & Capstans”), and still currently maintains Instructor status with that previously family owned business.

Formally a project manager for STC Netcom for AT&T-Ericcson’s CH2MHill UMTS project as well as multiple Bechtel-AT&T/Cingular raw land builds. During this time Steve was integral in: the Creation & implementation of “Safety Line” a monthly STC newsletter, Management & Training of all safety programs, Project Management, Bid/Job walks, Bids, Invoicing & Minor Engineering.

In concurrence with training at ComTrain Mr. Wilcox is the CEO of Line of Sight Communications which has been in construction & maintenance for over 20 years working for a plethora of broadcasters in the northern state of California and Nevada. Designing & building everything from Sky-Cams, Doppler radar, earth stations, two-way systems, microwave, cellular & Armature Radio Systems, and many more.

Mr. Wilcox is currently working towards Bachelors in Communications Electronics, FCC License holder for MROP, he has successfully completed the Crosby rigging class, Completed the Extended Connector training class from Andrew University and graduated to Field Tech level to from Broadcast Communications in 1995.

Greg Kechter

Greg Kechter served RSI as General Manager for many years and started his career in 1972 at a pipe manufacturing facility where he was involved with production as well as maintenance of equipment. This is where he was introduced to and learned the basics of electrical and electronic maintenance. He was responsible for maintaining and tuning the RF welder including the gen-set as well as the RF heat induction equipment. Mr. Kechter has been in the Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) business for 40+ years. Beginning with the operations department in an oil and gas pipe manufacturing facility and then moving on to Director of Maintenance, Quality Assurance, Environmental, Health, Safety, and General Manager of large fortune 100 owned facilities. All positions involved safely working with heavy equipment. It was while working here he became heavily involved with safety, while also installing, maintaining, operating, and training operators with RF heat induction equipment at numerous sites across the country, and became a technician for this equipment.

Greg has written or helped write numerous safety classes and can design for live or on-line classes. He has taught hundreds of classes since 1997 in the telecommunications safety field, including training for the 10 hour and 30 hour. He is an OSHA Authorized Outreach trainer for both Construction and General Industry. He has also trained thousands of people in the RF Train the Trainer and Advanced Train the Trainer.

He has assisted in writing the procedure manual for RF site hazard assessments which is now used nationally by a number of telecommunication companies as well as several government agencies. Mr. Kechter’s assessments include not only RF/EME but also tower safety, grounding, cathodic protection, and general site safety and security.

Mr. Kechter has performed assessments at numerous “high profile” sites such as the John Hancock Center, Sears Tower, Lookout Mountain and Tucson Mountain to name a few. He has provided safety training and RF mitigation measures at several of these sites. He has also worked with several industrial RF users in creating shielding from their high power RF sources.

Mr. Kechter has worked with several large utility companies not only determining safe work distances from antennas but also dealing with power line interference on RF meters and monitors, including providing training on all of these issues. Mr. Kechter is a Certified Utility Safety Administrator and an OSHA authorized instructor in both Construction and General Industry.
