RF Safety 102 - $150

This course is another great option for you as it contains up-to-date information on the latest RF Safety practices.  
This RF Safety certification course is recommended for all persons with the potential to be exposed to RF radiation while on a worksite.

This course targets specific topics:

  • RF Safety “Best Practices”

  • Understand non-ionizing radiation and RF induced current hazards

  • In-depth look at OSHA’s action limits with regards to the FCC’s RF exposure limits

  • The class will also cover site signage, site RF maps and RF Personal Protection Monitors (PPM)

RF Safety 202 - $150

This high quality OSHA COMPLIANT RF Certified Safety training course is designed for anyone who will be working on or near sites where they will be exposed to radio frequency energy. The RSI RF Safety course is a great option since it is designed for new hire training and recurrent training of existing employees.

RF Safety 301 - $150

This course builds upon lessons learned in RFS 101 and RFS 201 and is also an option for recertification. A previous RSI RF Safety course is recommended before taking this course.

This course is designed for anyone working at high-power broadcast sites and those who have previously taken RFS 101 and RFS 201.

This course targets specific topics:

  • In-depth RF Safety Basics for High-power Broadcast Facilities

  • Issues Surrounding Co-location Sites

  • Review on Steps to Compliance using Best RF Safety Practices

  • in-depth Look at MPE Rules and How to Use Them

  • Compliance Requirements Mandated by OSHA & FCC

 
 

RF Safety 401 - $150

This course builds upon lessons learned in RFS 101, RFS 201 and RFS 301 and is also an option for recertification. A previous RSI RF Safety course is recommended before taking this course.

This course targets specific topics:

  • Physical Hazards

  • Heating Effects

  • 1910.268 Training and Multi-Employer Site

  • MPE Chart

  • OSHA/FCC Compliance Requirements

  • Hazard Assessments

  • RF Suits and TWA

  • Signage

  • Safety Plans and Programs

If you have a Group of 5 or more you must contact the RSI Corporate office to receive your Group Discount.

Most RSI Courses are Approved for Category 4 Education
All RSI classes are approved for 50% reimbursement Motorola Co-op.

Courses include trainee testing and upon successful completion of the course(s) the student will be able to print a course completion certificate. These courses are designed for new hire training and recurrent training of existing employees.

Each student must receive a passing score on the test(s) before they can print their Certificate of Completion.

All courses will be available for review for 90 days from the date of activation. During this time you can go back and review information at any time.

These courses are priced per person with group discounts available through your RSI customer service representative.
